Live recording for the DG Stage in front of an empty hall

In early December, we went to the Dortmund Konzerthaus for an orchestral production for Deutsche Grammophon: a combination of CD project and video production for the DGG streaming stage with Lithuanian conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, pianist Kirill Gerstein and the Deutsche Kammerpilharmonie Bremen. The Dotmunders probably had no money for a state-of-the-art microphone winding system. Therefore, it was once again a matter of stretching steel cables and tying on mics one by one from below. Very laborious. This recording was also made with additional room microphones in view of a later Dolby Atmos mix.
