Daniil Trifonov SILVER AGE - mixed in Dolby Atmos

In fall 2019 Syrinx was a guest at the Mariinsky Concert Hall in St. Peterburg, where Daniil Trifonov recorded the two piano concertos of his new album SILVER AGE with the Mariinsky Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev. Many thanks to Vladimir Ryabenko and the fantastic Mariinsky team!

After completion of the stereo version for CD & digital releases, the two piano concertos were mixed in Dolby Atmos format on order of Deutsche Grammophon, thus officially inaugurating the new Dolby Atmos-compatible mixing studio at SYRINX Productions. Here mixes can be made and encoded in 9.1.4 format. Certification for Dolby Atmos Home is planned for 2021.
